Arrow Tank & Engineering primarily
works in the steel fabrication industry manufacturing high
pressure vessels. Divisions include propane, custom fabrication,
fire protection, and technical sales.
Cortec Advanced Films is a complete resource for
custom polyethylene film and bags made of Low Density Polyethylene,
Linear Low Density Polyethylene, High Density Polyethylene
and biodegradable materials. It also offers a special line
of anticorrosion packaging featuring Vapor Phase Corrosion
Inhibitor technology. Its special films are excellent for
storage, transit or overseas shipment. The Cambridge facility
added 15,500 square feet in 2004.
Lares Corporation is
one of the largest remanufacturers of power steering gears,
manual steering gears, power steering pumps, and power steering
components in the United States. It supplies many of the
largest fleets in the country and is the largest remanufacturer
of classic steering gears and power steering pumps.

service center, specializing in shearing, slitting and edging.
North Metro Saw is a production material processor and supplier located in Cambridge, MN. Founded in 1996, they expanded into a custom built 26,000-square-foot
facility in 1999 where they continue to specialize in cutting and value-added processing of barstock, tubing structural materiels and extrusions in all grades ranging from Carbon Bar to Stainless, Aluminum, all kinds of Structural and Exotic Alloys.
Park Manufacturing has been providing high quality
wire harness, custom cable and electro mechanical assemblies
for over 50 years. It offers state-of-the-art wire processing
equipment and the highest level of automation in the industry
to better serve its OEM customers' needs.
Schlagel, Inc. has been an industry leader
since 1957 in the design and manufacture of grain handling
equipment. Computer-assisted engineering, precision laser
cutting and CNC factory production have increased product
quality. The company is a third-generation, family-owned
community business. It invested in a major expansion in 1998.
STAR/Northstar Media This regional newspaper printer
and publisher opened a new facility in 2002, doubling its
size, expanding its color printing capabilities and adding
more publications. It publishes The Cambridge STAR as well
as niche publications for the Russian and Somali markets,
for lake dwellers and for horse lovers.
SunOpta Foods manufactures oat fiber. Its product
adds value to foods designed for health-conscious consumers.
The Cambridge facility employs 50 people and operates 24/7.
It invested $1.2 million in a second expansion in 2004 which
increased its fiber processing capacity by approximately
65 percent.
TEAM Industries is a Private company founded in Cambridge in 1967. The company has five locations in Minnesota and one in North Carolina. The Cambridge
facility provides precision machining services including to a variety of industries total manufacturing solutions to a variety of industries
-- including automotive, agricultural, construction, recreational products, and fluid
power. The plant has advanced automation capabilities integrated with high speed milling and
turning, spine-rolling, grinding, and induction-heat treating. The company
works with materials such as grey and ductile iron, aluminum, and steel bar
stock. It provides customers with part design assistance, metallurgical
lab analysis, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), and complete
tooling and fixture design and building. The Cambridge plant is ISO 14001.
US Water Services, Inc. is a leading industrial water treatment company providing water treatment solutions to companies across various industries. Its custom-blended chemicals and equipment are designed for boiler, cooling tower and wastewater applications. The company’s goal is to maximize the efficiency of a plant’s water system, which in turn reduces operational costs and minimizes the discharge of water to the environment. It has more 30 years of experience in the water treatment industry. It offers a total water management approach that incorporates a variety of services including capital equipment, engineering services, support services and custom-blended chemicals.
After its merger and subsequent acquisition of Utility Chemicals, U.S. Water Services continues to house its chemical production and warehouse facilities in Cambridge’s Southeast Industrial Park. The Engineering & Equipment division is located in Plymouth, MN. Teams of water treatment representatives are located in field offices across the country.
Vanpro manufactures parts for a wide variety of markets
including machining aluminum and magnesium die-castings for
the medical and computer industries. It also makes machine
steel and iron castings for the defense and railroad industry.
The Cambridge facility has expanded three times since 1994.
Water Works Manufacturing, LLC is a Twin Cities-based engineering design and production company focused on the rapid design, development, prototyping and production of formed metal parts. Using state-of-art hydroforming processes, Water Works helps companies design, develop and produce engineered metal parts quickly and cost effectively. The company utilizes CAD design software in conjunction with 3D simulation and FEA software to:
- design and simulate the metal forming processes
- perform structural analytical stress assessments of parts or subassemblies
- check and optimize metal forming processes to determine their feasibility before expensive tools are manufactured.

Anoka-Ramsey Community College. Anoka-Ramsey Community College, with campuses in Cambridge and Coon Rapids, has been a leading provider of higher education and training in East Central Minnesota since 1978 and the north suburban area of Minneapolis/St. Paul since 1965. Annually, the college serves more than 10,000 learners of all ages as they pursue associates degrees that transfer as the firsts two years of a bachelors's degree, or certificate programs that lead immediately to rewarding careers. In fiscal year 2008, the Continuing Education and customized training division generated more than 4,800 registrations in both credit and non-credit courses. Anoka-Ramsey Community College is a member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities.
Cambridge Medical Center has grown from a small clinic opened in 1950 to a comprehensive regional medical center serving more than 170,000 people living in Isanti County and the surrounding area. The medical center has 86 licensed beds and 983 employees -- including 296 full-time and 687 part-time staff. The medical staff of approximately 100 physicians and mid-level providers care for patients in a fully integrated clinic and hospital facility. The Center is a part of Allina Hospitals & Clinics, a not-for-profit network of hospitals, clinics and other health care services providing care throughout Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
Cambridge-Isanti School District #911 excels in arts,
athletics and academics -- with annual appearances in state
competitions. The district prepares students to be productive
community members by offering technical training courses
in welding, NATEF-certified auto mechanics, Advanced Placement
and college courses in science, math and languages. K-12
enrollment was 4,875 in 2004 and is projected to grow to
6,090 by the year 2012.

Federated Co-ops is a company built
by local growers to serve agricultural as well as consumer
needs. Products

for home and farm. It is owned by those it serves -- more
than 2000 growers and 35,000 consumers in 14 Minnesota counties
and six Wisconsin counties.

It offers the largest continuum of services to older adults in East Central Minnesota. Grandview was founded in 1959 by area Baptist churches in response to a growing need for senior services. In 2007, Grandview affiliated with Presbyterian Homes & Services. It subsequently merged with its neighbor, Cambridge Health Care Center, and became GracePointe Crossing.
Isanti County administrative and court officers are
based in Cambridge. The county employs 250 people
John Hirsch's Cambridge Motors is a new and used
car dealership with a full service department and seven lines
of vehicles. The current facility opened in 1995. In 2000,
it expanded to provide more showroom space and service bays.
It has more than 200 new vehicles and 150 used vehicles in
stock. The owner serves as the president-elect of the Minnesota
Auto Dealer Association.
McDonald's is a global fast-food hamburger chain.
Menard's Megastore is part of a national chain of
home improvement stores. Menard, Inc. is a private company
and is not publicly traded on the financial markets.
MinnCO
Credit Union has provided the people of East
Central Minnesota with good financial products and services
at the lowest possible cost for more than 60 years. It
has grown to more than 16,000 members served by four
branch locations.
Lowe's Home Improvement "Lowe's provides customer-value solutions with the best prices, products and services to make Lowe's the first choice for home improvement" Lowe's opened there new store in September 2009.
Perkins
Restaurant in Cambridge is one of the top
performing locations in the state. It traces its roots
to a single Pancake House, which opened in Ohio in 1958.
Target offers employment to more than 100 individuals
at its Cambridge department store. Target Corporation has
a long-standing history of giving back to the communities
it serves. The Cambridge store opened in 2000.
Wal-Mart Supercenter in Cambridge opened in 1995
and expanded to a Supercenter in 2002. It provides discount
department store items, full grocery service and tire and
lube center. The Cambridge location financially contributes
to help students, charities, and the community. It consistently
leads its region, ranking first of 117 stores in 2003 in
sales, cleanliness and customer satisfaction. The Supercenter
provides local employment for over 500 people.
